Ester wove her wondrous tale, putting her own unique spin on it, and even managing to surprise you with her creativity. She might make a decent writer or storyteller one day.
Shortly afterwards, you spot Glass in the distance, exchanging a silver box with another Morlock. You eyed their retreating back, as well as the container in their hands. Before you can get a better look, though, Glass notices you and waves you over.
<span class="mu-g">“Ben. It’s good to see you, man. You too, Ester.”</span>
He says this with a genuine, dazzling smile. But that might have only been because the sun’s rays were being refracted through his crystalline body.
<span class="mu-b">“H-hey, Glass.”</span> Ester greeted.
<span class="mu-g">“You turned tiny today. And you did your hair. And is that a new dress? It looks great on you.”</span> Glass said easily.
Ester blushed and pulled her hair down to cover her face. Glass inclined his head and gave her an apologetic smile.
<span class="mu-g">“Sorry. Personal space. I forgot.”</span>
You were pretty sure that it was a little more complicated than that. She hadn’t reacted like that with you.
Glass turned his attention back to you.
<span class="mu-g">“I hear you’ve seen Joy and Iara already. They’ve been wanting to hang out for a while, but, you know. No phones.”</span>
