That's the one you handle with the most care. You have no idea what it does just from the shape, as macabre as it is. The thing looks like some part of the jawbone, the teeth still attached to it give it the look of that body part at least, but there's a strangle sense of a familiar unease as you slowly move it through the air.
You barely so much as tap the dummy with it and a small indention you make in the wood seems to become a muted color, but no other effects are apparent. Then you swing it with a bit more force and that dull spot where the club of bone impacts has a greater radius. Very unusual. Finally, you swing it hard at the dummy and you truly do promise to yourself it will never be used on something you don't absolutely intend on killing.
The entire dummy becomes a sullen and lifeless grey, compressing hard against itself and shriveling back from the hit like you'd swung something far far larger to smash it down. The other side of the impact bursts outward in a shower of tiny wooden flakes, spraying forth like a small cloud of gore.
You should NEVER use this on something you intend to bind unless you're sure you can live with the consequences.
Ah, a hammer. I must admit, my talents used to be better suited for magics but this is quite a refreshing bit of fun. I did not know bound spirits would experience such different things from one object to another.
Well, Xandin's enjoying herself.
You should too, and there's hopefully an ancient-wood staff with your name on it as a present for yourself right over at the woodworkers.
