>>5888557The only thing the base Ball had for it was the big cannon, it was pretty shitty otherwise. The variants range from marginally better to actually viable. The K Type was superior to the mass production Ball in every way, the Type M was extremely effective in it's role in deploying mines and the Fisheye was probably the best ball variant, being used underwater to high effect in hit and run attacks.
They're all still Balls though and generally got as good as an actual MS.
There's also the best Ball variant, which destroyed three Rick Doms at the Battle of Solomon.
