And for the first time since his arrival, you hear a hard, commanding edge to his tone that nearly makes you take a step backwards. “He knows too many secrets now, and cannot be allowed to leave with that information. Which brings me back to you, young Chilli. Will you aid me, and undo what I have done unto him?”
“I’ll do it.” Chilli says after a moment’s consideration. “If you’re willing to supply your own mana, I will perform the spell. This won’t be quick, undoing several days will take considerable time and magic.”
“What about my prototype?” Fu asks, suddenly speaking up. “Will your spells affect it?”
“I don’t know, but probably.” he answers, seemingly honestly. “If you want it back, you’ll have to remove it before I begin.”
“Excellent. It sounds as if everything is in order. “Fu, once you remove your device you will remain here, and open one of your distortion portals back to where you retrieved this one from. And you three will ensure he is sent through immediately. Everyone ready?”
To which no one answers in the negative, Mechikabura nodding once and turning his whole attention to Chilli. Which leaves you.
