“Oh yeah, we saw a weird one.” they answer, describing a green, frog-like creature that they fought in the biggest swamp that had the unusual power to create miniature versions of itself. Which, of course, could all self-destruct on contact with your kids and their allies. “But it wasn't much of a problem, we were able to power through and take it down.”
“Nice, not bad you two.” you tell them enthusiastically. “Sounds like you found an interesting one. What else did you run into?”
They tell you all about their battles on the planet, how they and their friends Ticho, Been, and Kabash fought together and overcame each challenge that came their way. How they got ambushed the moment they arrived and fought back, cleared out the city they landed in and camped out overnight, sleeping in shifts to keep someone observing to make sure they don't get attacked, and how they took down the final stronghold fighting all together and the twins utilizing Tomitsu's power to fight the planet's champions. Who had powers similar to their own, and their own merged consciousness to boot.
“Brings back memories of when we used to do the same.” you say aloud to Meloka, a smile on her face as she no doubt remembers back to a certain moon filled with Greys. You then congratulate the twins on their victory, and let them know that you're proud of them doing so well without anyone suffering any major injuries. You all talk for a little longer before they both sign off, telling you both that they're going to bed. You say your goodbyes, and get back to your own training.
The days turn to weeks with nothing out of the ordinary happening, your time split four weeks in your own timeline then a week at Towa's with the half-demon children. Chaya decides to join you all each time, you resume your training with her under the watchful gaze of the ancient Sith Lord Darth Bane. But on the last day, after the sith specter returns to the holocron, your daughter turns to you with a thoughtful expression.
“D....I have something I wanna ask you.” she says, not looking directly at you.
“Of course, Chaya, ask away.” you reply automatically, curious what's on her mind. “What is it?”
“Yesterday I overheard Chilli and Maza talking, and he told me how you all got a massive power up from one of the old Namekians.” she says, then turns and looks at you. “Why didn't you tell me about it before?”
