Gazimon nods gratefully.
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-b">"You hear that, Bella? No need to mope anymore... It's almost over. I told you someone would be able to do something about it!"</span></span>
You see tears welling up in her eyes, and her fists clenching. You add on to the encouragement.
"It's already working, we can see your face. Right, guys?"
Wind and your partner Digimon all nod. Squid bobs her head feverishly on the screen that Kaus Gammamon is holding up.
He moves downwards, using the muffler to sweep artifacts away and smooth out the skin. It's a long process, and he takes it part by part. Next is the chest, then both arms, then lastly the legs. By the time he finishes, it's late in the morning.
Cutemon collapses backwards, sighing in exhaustion. He wipes some sweat away and holds out his hands. Pulsemon puts a cigarette in one and a drink in the other. He takes a deep chug and a deeper whiff, then waves his hand about, getting ash all over Bella's bed.
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-b">"Take a look at yourself."</span></span>
Gazimon scurries over to a mirror and flips it around. The lower half of the glass is shattered, but there's enough of it left to depict a proper reflection. Bella raises her hands to her face, quivering with emotion as she beholds her repaired form. Her disfigurement has been completely reversed.
You walk over to her and gently put an arm around her shoulder. Gazimon does the same to her leg, making sure that she's not alone while she lets out her sobs.
"Th-thank you... Thanks... All of you..."
You nod.
"We promised."

Your departure is with little fanfare. After Bella makes her gratitude known, you all head to the teleporter booth and make your way to the surface. Wind is unhappy to see Cutemon leaving so easily, but it's for the best. At the very least, you've been entrusted with the newly repaired beacon.
You and your three Digimon friends arrive in a back alley, with numerous electronic wire boxes lining it. They each lead into the internal partitions of the surrounding stores and buildings. You're at the Southernmost tip of a lesser shopping district, with quite a distance to travel before you can reach home. Fortunately, the Hospital isn't too far. You need to go in a rough triangle, making your way there, then to Doc's, then back to your own place.
"What a morning." You mumble.
