Manami follows close behind, a series of quiet, scared sounds pours out from Noir, shuddering within her bag, not even daring to poke his head out. You both make it a decent way down the tunnel, until an odd feeling starts to overtake you.
“Manami… how long is this tunnel?”
“Oh 400 meters give or take, why?”
“Cause we’ve been walking for at least 5 minutes and I can’t even see the end.”
“Huh… Oh my gosh, omigosh omigosh OMIGOSH! M’LORD I THINK THIS IS SOMETHING REAL, FINALLY!”
The feeling of horror in your gut clashes with the aura of excitement surrounding Manami, but before she can gush anymore, the sound of something brushing against the concrete echoes out to meet the both of you. Noir leaps from Manami’s bag and hisses, his hair standing on end, his tail stiff and raised up, and only now do you notice the odd white band around the black cat’s tail.
You jump in your skin as a short figure soon presents itself from the tunnel, it looked much like an elderly woman, but as your eye adjusted, you soon realized it was far from some normal woman. Her skin was a gray, almost purple shade, her mouth was stitched closed, and as she drew closer, a sickening wicked laugh starts to bellow out from her, even though her mouth doesn’t seem to open at all.
You ready you baton, but in the blink of an eye, she’s gone from sight.
“Where in the hell-”
“M’lord! Behind you!”
You turn your head and meet face to face with the creature, her body was seemingly weightless as she clung to your back with that sickening grin.
“Care to do a favor for a bored old crone like myself?” She whispered out clawed fingers lightly tapping at your shoulder, though her lips still stayed immobile the entire time.
