These two are the only men that you are previously acquainted with, but introductions are made with a few others that you find to be good company. Across from you sit the Cedric twins, younger sons a distant Fallavon House that you are not familiar with. Although the twins are originally from Fallavon, they have most recently granted leave from the Royal Army to undertake this pilgrimage. Theirs was the most direct from Aubrey to Cathagi, rather than the more circuitous and traditional path. They still wear the king’s colours openly despite not being here on official Crown business, an honour typically only granted to those proven men that have several years of commendable service among the Kingsmen. By all accounts their request for a leave of absence came suddenly and somewhat as a surprise to their peers, but when you ask them what compelled them to complete their own pilgrimage together this year they are surprisingly reluctant to give a straight answer.

>Sir Cedric and Sir Cedric. Identical in every manner of appearance from their short-styled blonde hair to their startlingly blue eyes, they are amiable and chatty fellows that are easy to get along with. It’s not often you hear of a knight putting a promising career in the Royal Army on hold to travel, let alone two. [Haughty]
>Sir van Brooksvale is a man of few words and less ostentation, ill at ease in a crowd. You view it as your duty to ensure they are included in the table’s conversation. When another tells you that he was knighted by none other than the Duke Aubres himself last year, you simply must hear the story. [Hearty]
>Brother Jesaul was a figure of terror in your youth. Your world feels entirely turned upside down to now see this man treats you as a fellow peer and talk to you as an equal. The two of you speak at length, laughing at the trials and terrors endured by most Romani youths in their period of service. You hated the man then, but find yourself surprisingly attached to him now. [Idealist]
