Now you're getting into the stuff that's real interesting. In the Armory, two employees sit on the metallic floor. Grant holds the pale white scales in hand while Isabelle has the police badge equipped comfortably on her shirt.
Isabelle is deeply contemplating something. She mutters to herself before her voice suddenly changes into a man's voice. An electronic buzz laces it. "So I basically say whatever comes to mind and I can- holy shit wow this is something."
Isabelle(?) gets up. She points a set of finger guns at Grant. "Hey, shrink. Long time no see, eh? What y'all doing over here?"
Grant barely reacts before holding up the set of scales right in front of Isabelle(?). <span class="mu-b">A glowing blue orb manifests on the left scale.</span> Grant squints for a moment, shifting the scales in his hands to see if anything will change.
"Huh. Even with another voice, there's only one orb. Intriguing. Experiment #4: Testing what happens when physical contact is made with a linked target." Isabelle(?) tilts her head. "Hm? The hell are you doing, playing Law and Order?"
"Perhaps." Grant blandly responds. "Now, let's see what happens." Grant reaches back his knuckle and lightly, and firmly, taps Isabelle(?) on the shoulder.
The bright orb shimmering on the scale dulls for a second before quickly returning to full brightness. <span class="mu-r">Isabelle's eyes glaze over and she almost loses her posture while the orb was dull.</span> The moment Grant sees this, he sets the scales down and holds his arms out to catch Isabelle.
"...H-holy shit, p-please don't do that again." <span class="mu-i">whatwasthateven</span> A faint voice whispers from the direction the scales are at.
"I'm sorry." Grant diverts his gaze from the girl. "I didn't expect that. Are you okay? Do you need to talk about it?"
"I-I, uh, saying 'I' felt weird for a moment." A forced chuckle leaks out of Isabelle. <span class="mu-i">judgedjuryexe</span> "I'll be fine. Just...let's go back to experiments. Besides that."
The two sit back down. Grant focuses on the whispers leaking out of the scales while Isabelle keeps staring into vacant air, occasionally whispering to someone you can't hear.
Working Notes - G2
-Note: Be wary with physical contact with those influenced by the scale. It appears that influences the orb.
-Note: Speculations on what the orb might be, need more time to clarify. Might be useful if it is what I believe it to be.
-Note: Presley's voice came out of Isabelle, side effect of UNITY? Or another effect all together? Possibility of sharing traits and personalities through one mind? More testing needed.
Working Notes - I
-Felt weird letting someone else talk for me, you know? Guess I have to represent the people or something.
-I think the scales need a living target to work on. We tried using it on inanimate objects but it didn't make an orb.
-Holy shit, that HURT. Might be good for combat? Didn't feel like a tap at all. More testing needed to confirm.
