The shuttle rumbled and turned but not nearly as harsh as it would have been in a tactical airdrop. UZ1 linked up to the Skitarii pilot who was operating the vehicle and watched as the flak that was being thrown towards them missed with the accuracy of fools. As expected of Orks, UZ1 admitted. Taking another moment she began sending a broadcast to all within her force an estimation of arrival upon the battlefield.
For a moment she saw a flier coming towards them, the ocular lenses of the operating Skitarii quickly identifying the Ork’s face and giving her an immense assessment in gross detail. UZ1 however did not have any fears as before the plane could fly anywhere close to them it imploded.
The place of the one who rescued UZ1, one of the Knights of Dutonis employing the Icarus Autocannon system imported from Columnus.
As they had no issues UZ1’s time estimates were exact. Even before the shuttle’s landing her troops were mobilizing themselves. Removing herself from the harness the girl stood in the middle between the heavily armored Acillians and the lightly armored Skitarii who were prepared to die at her orders.
With a rumble on the ground they quickly began furrowling out of the vehicle and were welcomed with the sight of combat.
The glossy shine that the walls shined was the first thing that UZ1 noticed as she made landfall. While the Orks had placed an obvious insane amount of effort into maintaining the fortification it was clear they were just fools standing on the shoulder of Xenos Gods. Even as the Mortars and Knights fired upon the fortification the crystalline structure only repulsed the attack with a green crackle of energy.
It was some sort of witchcraft of the Mitu. Before this world was one of their fortresses against the Orks, that was clear, but even with the impenetrable walls they were likely breached by the Orks with sheer numbers to overwhelm them. Though that meant it could be penetrated.
“Advance! Aggressor Imperative!” UZ1 declared over the Vox network as she snapped her bosom screamed, “We shall run over these Xenos Pagans who are an affront to the Machine God and stomp them under the thunder of our feet! May we have vengeance for all that have been destroyed!”
With those words they began rushing at speeds that some of the Astartes found hard to follow up. Though they did not seem too bothered as they angled their flamers and prepared for the next few moments of attack.
