Anger flared. The rune of the Slayers knew a wrong was made against Lucian by this man and had caused his blood to burn with a burst of red anger. He was already in motion before his mind knew it was happening. All he knew was that he needed to strike at this very moment.
Yet, as his scythe flew through the air, the enchanted sword was already moving to a parry against the Knight. The man’s face was contorted as he could not even reason an emotion from the sudden onset of violence against him.
Lucian threw against him two more strikes, one at his stomach and another at his neck. The Imperial was quick as he narrowly moved his sword to parry the strike against his stomach, throwing Lucian’s scythe upwards only for Lucian to complete the next strike that was already envisioned within his mind.
He saw it there, the uncanny movement as the man threw himself backwards in a roll that brought his head and neck outside of the scythe’s reach. Lucian felt anger as not even a lick of blood was taken from the fool’s neck.
“Gods be damned!” Shouted the Imperial traitor as he looked at Lucian, “You survived.”
The man had to be quick as a sudden burst of crossbow fire was rained upon his position. The Dwarfen Rangers sending a small barrage of arrowfire against the man as the sword glowed a brighter blue. A sudden flush of magic flowed into the air, knocking the warrors out of the sky as the man threw himself in the direction of the Dwarfs.
“I’ll bash yer head!” Shouted Adok as he threw himself between them. The Swordsman however saw the attack coming and threw his blade to parry, a spark of magic coming as the rune-encrusted hammer came in contact with the sword. The man was quick to rebound as a strike came towards Adok’s head.
Yet Lucian was there quickly, throwing off the blow with a bash of his scythe against the body of the swordsman.
Wigmar did not fall, instead taking the few steps back. A quick attack had failed, Lucian realized, but he was now on the otherside of where the Necromancer and King were.
>Join together to pummel this idiot
>Send Adok and the Rangers forward to fight the Necromancer
>Overhelm the Imperial with brutality!
>Work at him, try to make him overextend
>Push him back through range, perhaps even force a retreat
