>>5898250>>5898277The metal, in the dark, could easily be mistaken for some kind of ceremonial ceiling fixture. However, with Espurr's Flash, you can quickly tell that it's shaped purposefully to do something. You're not sure what. It does seem to align with that gap off to the left.
Brook can see that, from a different perspective, it might be angling to grab the light and project it somewhere in the room. It must be too rusted to do that, however.

The largest of all the paintings feature strange creatures of old, found across far-flung places. From right to left, it ends with a massive painting of a great golem holding up something huge, with the same two heroes waiting below.

Mohka stands nearby, holding and acting as the anchor for the Kubfu. Wallis concentrates on causing what water can be manipulated. A slight jolt allows the mud to weaken and for the two to get a boost as they leap on up, grappling with Kaz.
With a sense of relief, everyone's managed to get back up.
