“Damn them, damn them!” Shouted a man as he was leaped upon and had his ribs crushed under the weight of the giant wolves.
Lucian had already advanced himself towards them and was swinging his blade. The creature, distracted by the numerous sticks within his flesh, could not fully dodge the swing of the scythe towards its arms. The blade dug deep and quick bringing out the crimson red blood that scattered across the corpses of those it had killed.
The creature quickly leaped like a cat, getting onto its feet while holding its arm. Quickly it began flailing about as the men stabbed their weapons into it. It wanted to fight Lucian but with the ranks of men surrounding it the monster were perfect in distracting it.
It did not mean that no men died from the monster as they tried to hold it down. But as they were defending their home they were ready to die against the bladed hands of the monster.
Lucian charged it, his scythe in hands, the blade going through the air in an arch that the Knight would not have pride in. Yet even without the beauty of a strike the sheer strength that was within his limbs allowed the weapon to crush through the skull and be carried through most of the ribs.
It was dead.
The Knight looked over, seeing the other one being held for just long enough that Bok was able to finally get a grip of its head with those mighty jaws. He thought the Kroxigor would have just chewed through it, but the monster instead twisted with such might that Lucian heard the neck of the wolf snap.
As those were killed more came, the gap that was the gate still unfilled.
>Try to hold the gap
>Charge through the gap
>Work with the other regiments to contain.
