Unlike Perturabo, we were born on a planet of technology and means, so we wouldn't really be envisioning bridges and architecture we'd just build it.
I would imagine TalOS engineering holograms and schematics are for grander greater things, beyond even the means of the current imperium/mechanicum and in need of lost or missing STC technologies. Old Federation wonders he's heard of yet to be found or rebuild like dysons spheres, artificial habitats, or the impressions of a completed machine based only on a few scraps.
