[PERSON OF INTEREST] Tensions are high, two of your allies have personal connections to one of the bosses, and god knows who Alexis is involved with.
[PERSON OF INTEREST] The risk of something bad happening is too high. We should address this issue LATER. At a better time.
[UNSTABLE] LAME.
"Max, turn off your detector for now. So it doesn't attract any attention." You whisper towards the beanpole gremlin. She quickly takes the hint and does so. Welp! Time to make a beeline past these fucking goobers! You take a quick moment to SIGHTJACK one of the many miners to get a decent idea on how you should path it.
The three corporates are staring at the crowd specifically, nowhere else, given the nasty glares you're getting second hand exposure to you. As long as you stay AWAY from the crowd, they might not notice. Though, you only had five seconds to check since you weren't going to spend any mind over this.
You go first, deciding that the casual stroll method would work out well. Don't act suspicious and no one will notice you. You slowly stride past the crowd and corpos with a wide enough gap to make sure none of them notice you in the corner of their eye. You pass by with no issue.
Benjamin and Casey follow the same path you did, casually strolling as if there was nothing out of the ordinary going on. All three of you were quiet enough for no one to really pay attention to you as you walked past them.
Alexis is obviously a bit more hesitant but she manages to keep her cool alongside the others. She keeps her head low and the distance between her and the crowd wide enough that no one will pay attention to her.
Max?
Max is fucking spooked, there's no other way to say this. She's walking a little bit too fast, she keeps glancing around way too nervously, she's not hiding her face at all. She's clearly stressing herself over what could happen if someone spots her.
Roland's eyes break away from the crowd for a moment, narrowing his eyes in Max's direction. <<span class="mu-b">"Wait, that outfit's familiar. Couldn't be, right?"</span>>
Benjamin simply gives Max a thumbs up and a smile, trying to encourage her. <<span class="mu-b">"C'mon, you can do this."</span>>
Max manages to steel her nerves long enough to stop acting so god damn suspicious and to go with the flow. This is enough to snap Roland's attention back to one of the many miners getting up in his face. <<span class="mu-b">"Feh. This is more important."</span>>
Once you and your allies manage to get past the crowd mostly unnoticed, the five of you make a god damn beeline away from the crowd to get some distance from them.
>SUCCESSFULLY SNUCK PAST THE CROWD!
"Hey, hey, it's going to be fine." Benjamin tries his best to comfort Max. "He didn't see me, didn't even see you. Right?"
"Y-yeah! Yeah, yeah, uh, yeah." Despite his best efforts, Max is too busy muttering to herself to really hear what Benjamin is actually saying. Alexis watches on with pity but Casey?
"Wait. Here." Casey pulls something out of her pocket.
