"Yes, Master!" Was her reply as yawned, leaned on you, and held your hand.
The lighthouse was almost done. While you didn't know much about the ideal placement or how they worked, other than being there to guide ships, it was still on you to place it somewhere. Where exactly did you want it to be built?
>By the cove. It was closer to the dungeon entrance where you expected to make a port later.
>By your dockyard. It was closer to your mansion, and was where your BoatMech was moored. A small beach was next to it.
>By the highest rocky cliff. While not close to your mansion, it would tell others not to get too close to the place.

Later that evening, after you kissed Herta to sleep, you would find that Gerty speaking to you about her successful day.
"Sir," Your Holy Knight kneeled before you "Forgive me-"
"Yeah, yeah, you're an incompetent failure." You rudely interrupted. "Are you gonna keep on repeating yourself like a broken record?" You lifted up her chin with a hand. "Or are you gonna start being useful for me?"
"Master..." She looked pleased with how 'forceful' you were being to her. "I will do better! I swear onto you that by the end of the week, the mine shall be fixed to your ideal!"
"Is that really all you have to say to me?" You 'scoffed' at her, bringing her up for a 'forceful' kiss. It was a bit of an odd position, but you made it work.
"Master..." A look of devotion mixed with fiery determination took hold of her eyes as your gazes met. "I won't fail you, sir!"
Gerty was honestly doing a pretty good job. She took every precaution; if she ever needed to look in the mine then the water-necklace helped her keep her breath as she covered her body with protective gear and the enchanted items you gave her. Spider clankers crawled upon the walls, dispatching any enemies and finding anything of concern before her inspections, while construction clankers dug around and reinforced the area, and the standard clankers got rid of any of the stronger opponents. You were pretty proud of her and of how well she was taking care of herself, though a part of you suspected that she was just doing this so she could be 'rewarded' by you...
Either way, you were on the verge of getting a functioning coal mine.
And the clankers still had their drills on them, making available the opportunity to get some coal.
>And you wouldn't waste any time in getting it. (Uses up Gerty's and Cattleya's action next week, leading the clankers to mine it and dragging carts of coal to the manor respectively)
>And you'd make sure to build your first bit of infrastructure to facilitate getting coal. (Uses either Herta's or Gerty's action next week to make a road and a railway connecting the mine to your manor)
>But you wanted to wait. At least until you had digging clankers and had a better connection to the mine.
