>>5442655>QM Question:Yes, I've made several. My "spin off" threads of my primary quest, Space Monke Supreme Ruler, were some of my biggest passion projects. I think they're a great breath of fresh air, but it's important not to bog down the pacing of your main quest's story with exploration in your quest's universe, something I'm learning the value of now.
I have two (more) planned for the runtime of my quest. I've also considered the idea to run a full alternate universe/epilogue sort of "what if" bonus content thread going back to all the major decisions for every thread to see what might have happened differently, but that is a lot of work and not something I think too many people would be interested in. The quest's story as it unfolds is what people came for imo.
>General Question:Character interactions are really important depending on your quest. My quest is multi-generational, so we get significantly less time with each character. My absolute favorite character interactions is where you can squeeze in characterization or personality in the slightest space possible; like how someone uses something as simple as honorifics or greetings to another character. Things like that are really fun to write- but this is more from a QM perspective then a player perspective.
>Misc. Question:One advantage of running a quest with a large cast of characters is you can kill them off easier. Horror films are great fun. I can't think of any characters in particular I'd love to see from my own quest in a horror film; except maybe Kima. Anything bodyhorror or alien-invasion type is great. The first Alien is one of my favorite films ever, really nails the atmosphere. Sadly I always feel like I couldn't time it right- to run a horror theme'd quest during the "spooky" time of year and finish it before it gets old.
