The Prodigy had come to the hospital after the Analysis of a very peculiar set of samples had been unspooled and digitized. They looked pretty innocuous in their casual clothes, which they wore after finishing their day job, but their credentials caused the staff that confronted them to defer to the Prodigy’s authority and guide them to their goal.
In a Meeting Room the Team of Experts had assembled to present the results that had led them to even calling the assembly.
“Welcome your Excellency, I am Doctor Nakazono. While I am sure you are a very busy person, you just had to see what we found in the Monster DNA we were provided with.” the lead Scientist started before the first slide of the presentation popped up. It was filled with Graphs and numbers that the Prodigy understood instinctively and their eyes shone with an almost manic light.
It took them hours to go through every relevant detail but when it was done the Prodigy thanked them for their hard work and asked them for a full data transfer to their own systems where they would work on the Samples gathered.
“You see dear Colleagues… this right here….. might just be the most important development for the perfection of humanity that the good Doctor ever came up with. Work begins tomorrow. I will inspect the Equipment today.” the Prodigy stated, with a deadly calm that made every other person in the room feel a chill running down their spine. They all knew the Nickname of the enigmatic sponsor of their hospital but none ever dared speak it out loud. They had worked on some of his projects as distant auxiliaries but it seemed like this time they would be in the thick of it and failure on their part would not be an option.
