The invasion of the planets whose designation was now B-1 was a success for the forces of the Mechanicum. The water reserves were filled up within a day or orbit and the Xenos were ultimately crushed. Places that held little to no value were given a Radium Bomb for their troubled existance.
If TalOS understood the calculations correctly the planet would be useless for agricultural purposes for three hundred years. For the Xenos the planet was lost, but for the Mechanicum it still had its uses.
When the time comes it will be colonized and used as the basis of a mining world of some kind. Until that moment comes however TalOS will continue the fight.
As TalOS enjoyed the success of the mission he got an notification. Turning towards the door TalOS ordered the Machine Spirits to open the door and welcomed before him a rather tired looking UZ1.
+I was wondering what had happened.+ TalOS said as he gave her a smile, +Do you have your report?+
UZ1 gave a nod as she took a moment to relax. She was silent for a moment as she seemed to collect her thoughts, +My apologies for being late on this TalOS. I wanted to make sure that what happened reached you directly.+
TalOS nodded as he quickly took up the report. He scanned it for but a second until he stopped at a memory file. He listened to the memory and turned to UZ1 in confusion, +What is this here?+
+One of the Xenos Psykers experienced a catastrophic failure in his powers and produced it. On my way up I recovered from of the records that leads me to believe it was some sort of phenomena caused by our greatest enemy.+
+Were you or my Sons harmed?+ TalOS asked next.
+My Aegis was intact so I only heard the words and not the Psychic presence. I have reviewed the records on your son’s systems and determined that their Aegis held up as well. None of us experienced any lasting trauma except the burden of knowledge.+ She answered while giving a shallow smile, +What should we do?+
>Keep the situation under wraps and contained. Best not stoke fear now.
>Let a select few know of what happened and to see if this happened to others.
>It shall become general knowledge, so that everyone knows what to look for.
>Write in
Look, no one is getting corrupted so don't freak out. Just a question on how you treat potential corruption/warp god nonsense.
