I have been using ChatGPT as thesaurus and a way to rephrase my sentences, which even 3.5 is good at. I check if it can offer edits that are good, but often not. As
>>5680577 said, it's incredible for research and trivia. I read multiple books on Prohibition America preparing to run The Alien and the Drunkard, but it was still too overwhelming for me. One of the characters in the story was a car mechanic, and it took my hours of browsing or research to keep it authentic, something which, if I had been using GPT, would've taken me a minute. I don't think I've dropped my previous quest in that case. It's incredibly helpful with my current quest, especially with dialogue and lingo.
