The sudden boon of a grouping of Dwarfen Ghost Warriors was something that Lucian did not really expect. It would seem to the Ancestor God Gazul, he who watches the Dwarf Souls in the Underearth, carries a different philosophy when it comes to managing his dead. That if their rest is threatened, that he will personally allow them to rise, risking damnation of soul obliteration so that their honor is not sullied.
The ghosts of the dead were initially reluctant when it came to going into the chambers in search of their comrades. A consolidation that they did not see as very much necessary when they were but their god’s wrath against the terrors that took their king.
Yet the living would not have it. A chorus of Dwarfen Scouts with both Lucian and Adok together were enough to demonstrate the will they had for simply running at the foe.
The interactions with the Dwarfen Ghosts had taken a lot of time, Lucian realized, for when they arrived at their agreed upon location the others were already there and clearly having waited for minutes on end. All of them were clearly spooked by the ghosts that followed them,
The next hour’s conversation was longer than trying to get the ghosts to work with Adok. The others had their own surprises.
“The Raki are working with the Necromancer?” Adok nearly coughed his surprise as he spoke.
“It is what we saw cousin.” The Dwarfen Scout confirmed as he shook his head, “They are in the lower levels I heard, where the forges and mines are. The Necromancer is paying them off with Warpstone, making it so he does not need to wage a war to get ahold of this Karak.”
“It's despicable.” Gillot announced as he spat on the ground.
“The Forces of Chaos work together when both are faced with Order, just as Order comes together when they fight Chaos.” Tee-Nee-Tyny said to everyone as he gave a sage nod of the head.
“So can we drive a wedge between the Skaven and the Undead?” Lucian asked the Lizardman with a small bit of hope in his heart.
“Yes, it will be easy for you to accomplish.” He answered while giving a wave of the hand.
