Strewn apart, with a circular scorch mark in the middle. It seems that his upper torso wasn't destroyed and he managed to crawl a bit - only to prop itself up on the roots of an ancestral tree.
Remarkably, it seems like the machine man is still alive and conscious - but that might change soon. Maybe you could get some answers from him before it's too late.
