More than anything, you were looking forward to seeing how everyone’s been doing without you. Vic, Rich and Pete would flip if they knew what you’ve been up to these past few weeks. Although, you’d probably only show them the pics you took from your time with Ana, and from when you went to the Dazzler concert. Your sister might just kill you out of jealousy. You wondered if your spider sense could protect you against that.
You’d need to catch up with Abe, Julia and Webb over at the old lady’s mansion too. It’s been too long since you’d gotten a moment to speak with them. You weren’t sure how positively they’d react to you aiding a crime boss in their rise to power, or your intention to support Silvermane in the upcoming gang war, but you supposed that you could just…omit those parts.
Maybe you could hang out with Daredevil and retell the events of your team-up with Elsa Bloodstone in your fight against a demon army! Marc and Cindy would probably get a kick out of hearing that story. Especially the latter, seeing as how she’s been sheltered for most of her life.
Speaking of your ward, you were curious to hear how she’s been acclimating to her new environment. Last time you checked, school life seemed to be stressing her out a bit.
Was she making friends there? Was she having trouble keeping up with the curriculum? Was she being bullied? Was she able to balance her school schedule with her duties as a divine vigilante?
You had so many questions. You were starting to regret not keeping up with them while you were in Vegas. The trip had taken much longer than you’d originally expected, but at least you got some nice prizes out of it.
You made a tiny, green flickering flame at the end of your fingertip and watched it dance in the dark, cramped space. And after receiving several complaints, you put it out and turned your head to stare out the window. You should be arriving at the airport shortly. Ana had your stuff sent there ahead of time, and your bags were already loaded onto a private jet that would take you back to New York.
You just hoped that your city was prepared for a new and improved Huntsman.

After a series of transfers and a lengthy flight, you and your friends finally arrived back in New York somewhere in the early afternoon. Cat and Prowler decided to retire to their homes to sleep off the exhaustion they’d been accumulating over the course of the last few days. You couldn’t blame them either.
And judging from the way their suitcases bulged, you suspected that they made off with more than a few of their own prizes before leaving Vegas behind.
Predictably, the Morlocks had only one destination in mind. They’d be sneaking back into the sewers to rejoin their fellow mutants in the Alley. It’d taken quite a bit of effort for Joyce to wrangle Iara back, as the amnesiac shark girl was preparing to shoot off towards the inner city, her eyes sparkling with childlike wonder.
