I thought about making the main weapon a Tranter revolver - I believe this or some cartidge converted variant is actually more accurate to the Sherlock Holmes era (Dr Watson perhaps carrying something like it during the Afghan War, whilst civilians probably just had various Webleys) in the end though, the cool and unique-looking trigger lever break action of the Galand won out, and I could only find the black powder picture variants for the Tranter gun. Incidentally, I chose the Krag-Jorgensen over several more stereotypically familiar videogame type ww1 rifles because I believe that rifle was used in the Philippine wars, near the Mariana trench.
