I think an underexplored genre is Acid Fantasy, the sort of psychedelic hallucinogenic chromatic dream world (often post apocalyptic or swords and sorcery crossover).

I liked this picture because if you ever played Conan Exiles (the open world third person rpg, where you can craft the comedy slave wheels and leash maidens and captives to them, all whilst completely naked lol, everything is dangling out) there is a sort of salt volcanic region in that game with some good rare mineral / mining resources, and this photo proves that the desolate wasteland from the game actually exists in real life hehe
