Catti’s dull greeting causes a chuckle to leave Thistle’s mouth as he walks down the sun kissed street. The sun bathing the dead end town of broken dreams in a warm tangerine glow. His blank bark mask’s eyes curved upward in an “eye smile” and his jaw cracked a crevice to give his face a smirk, in front of him are his partners in morally unethical actions. Or friends as regular folk would call them.
A chubby goth cat with white fur stood near QC’s wearing a black top and pink shorts, and a pair of pink sandals. Her yellow eyes are usually focused on her phone most of the time. A blue bird wearing only glasses and a white pocketed short sleeve shirt stood beside her casually talking her ear off with an expression so smug it would cause any fist in a ten mile radius to hone in on his location. Berdly raves to Catti about something she clearly cares very little about. But after years of being friends she has mastered the whole pretending to listen thing.
Berdly’s beak is wedged in his usually sleaze ball smirk as he does so.
You’ve all been friends since you were but a lil sapling. Where you all first met by the virtues and wonders of being broke, and needing money. Being the good Samaritan’s you are you and your friends found ways to help folks with the burden of their heavy wallets. Catti nudges Berdly who notices Thistle and stops his one sided talk.
“So, heard our stand got decimated…by Mrs.Toriel.” Catti says whilst tapping on her phone, the lazy cat’s half-lidded eyes momentarily leaving her brain rot box to look expectantly at her trouble making friend.
“Yeah, but after walking up to her, looking her directly in da’ eye and apologizing profusely, I think she’s over it.” Thistle admits without shame. Catti puffs at a lock of hair that had gotten in her face and opens her mouth.
“Yeah, but word is she drop kicked it. In half. We reinforced the bottom of it with metal.” Catti says in mild disbelief while walking down the street beside the green and blue outcasts.
