The small crack in the rubble between the carriages, busted and broken as they are, is tested and pulled at a little by Bob but he lacks the strength to shift the mass much further. Gallium's electric surge runs into a low burn, but with a final push of effort, everyone can try to maintain the opening as a secure exit from one hell to another.
And the... fire. . . like a slow seeping wound. . . drips in bit by bit. Bob catches alight, flailing tendrils and arms. Fox shouts in alarm, Raven moves to evacuate the unconscious and the smoke-hurt; Faust concentrates with all he has and tries to plug the gap in the walls the flame is lashing in from but he can't muster the concentration, too worn to the bone. A Woodsie, trying to keep the flames in the back at bay now that the firebreak that Raven established has been so abandoned, is caught by a sudden shift of plating that pops from heat fatigue and stumbles forward, screaming, going alight like a bonfire.
But at least you have a path out...
Better make it quick.
