The action forcibly dissipates your Shadow Clone and you suddenly feel energy surging BACK through you. You’re able to recollect yourself before that does any major damage, but your mind is still flooded by hundreds, thousands of thoughts, each soft as whisper, but together a cacophony of mental noise. You attempt to direct the energy flowing through you right now towards a very, very enraged Zelos, with you able to hear every single negative thought of his being thrown towards you. You hold the Hakkero forward with both hands, and release it…!
Except it isn’t energy that comes out.
No, instead, a clawed limb covered in iridescent carapace tears through, as if it’s physically ripping open a rift between dimensional boundaries. And all the flowing thoughts and energy you were trying to channel instead go right into the being that’s trying to break free. More of its body gets through, and you see the top half of a creature with a horned, three-eyed lion-like head with a sharp beak for a mouth kinda… jutting out of its face rather than properly attached on, more beetle-like carapace across its limbs and body with hints of a soft black flame around it almost giving the impression of “fur” made of fire, a shell opening up to reveal massive avian wings that glisten in the light. And… somehow, the thing’s energy feels familiar. Eerily so.
At the same time though, you’re able to regain enough control over what’s going on to try and shatter this nodal point, and even better, it looks like Chiaotzu, Sala, and Hado succeeded in doing the same thing after your copy faded away! And in doing so, whatever method this thing was using to force itself free closes up, and only the upper torso of it remains… though instead of being bisected, there’s a shimmer of light across the cut off point. And it doesn’t exactly seem any worse for wear in spite of it being cut in half.
“Do you have ANY idea what you’ve done you BLITHERINGLY STUPID CHILD?!” Zelos screams at you.
Taking just a moment to properly sense it… you get a solid idea on why this thing felt familiar. You sense Demonic Ki in it, but more than that, it’s Ki like that of… Hirudegarn, the complete, evolved one you faced. A Majin. A full Demon God.
