>>5453815Angela and Penn try to get through following the strategy that Latte and Java pulled off, but sadly they don’t quite manage it as well, with Penn misjudging the arcs of the Slime Cannons and paying the price for it. Hakka and Cheelai fare about the same that Izzy and Tapion do, with the fox boy’s shapeshifting allowing him to dodge the cannons with ease… but Cheelai gets overconfident and tries to ease her way through, slipping up and getting slimed 3/4 the way to the end. Single point for both teams.
Phanty and Gohan though clear it with flying colors, the ghost girl’s intangibility giving him an edge as he leans and swerves around the Slime Cannons, neither of them ending up with even a spot of slime on ‘em! Gohan does a little air guitar in victory, Phanty joining in cheerfully. Full points!
Hado and Erasa… well, Hado TRIES but he isn’t quite all that coordinated with Erasa. She actually does a bit better than you expected, but the pair keep barely avoiding the slime… and about halfway through, they get hit. But the initial hit gets them to refocus, and slowly but surely, they too make it through to the end. One point!
And so, the brothers’ teams are up, one after the other. Idasa does initially try to show off, but it’s Kokoro that actually takes the lead. She moves the two of them around with the precision your brother comments is like something out of a bullet hell shooter, just barely nudging away from where the Slime Cannons fire from while still avoiding their fire. She and Idasa end up clearing the whole thing, getting full points! Ikose tries to keep a similar pace, but he ends up more trying to shield Sibella rather than avoid the Slime Cannons. She finds the gesture… appreciative, though she does have to remind him that the two are supposed to be working together. He gets rather bashful at that, but manages to understand that a bit better. One point to finish that round off!
