Rolled 2, 4 = 6 (2d6)
Dice Roll = how many Red then Green Pikmin you lost
You decide to engage the Beady Long-Legs with a small squad of Pikmin, hopefully keeping causalities down.
>>5408380Not a terrible idea but- if you block up the fire vents then the pressure couldn't escape. It could push the Pikmin out and blast them up but- how could you be sure to angle their ascent? Or what if the whole gets so blocked up it explodes??? You know reds are fireproof but are they... explosion proof too? Still, with that said, it's hard to reach the central orb...
Using a mix of Green and Red flower pikmin- you decide to try and tangle up the Beady's legs... with limited success. However, only taking a small squad was definitely the right choice- if you had your whole army here those stomping legs would inevitably make causalities. Using your Pikmin's quickness, you can avoid most of them getting crushed. Sadly, the Green Pikmin can't seem to get their tendrils into this monster's thick alloy-like skin, but they can hold onto its legs and gently weigh it down. Even with your best throws, getting your red pikmin up to the central orb is difficult, meaning you have to wait for the right opportunity. Because your Pikmin can't easily reach the orb, the resulting battle takes an entire day of slowly weakening the Arachnorb until it finally dies.
But once it does- you recover your part! Carrying it back to base, you have it brought back into your ship, completing another step in the process. Only 5 more parts to go!
However, there is only a short time left until nightfall on this day. As you stand there in the circle made by your ship, the onions, and your Pikmin; they look at you expectantly. You feel like cause for celebration, but the pikmin are just... waiting. Like expecting another command. Do they never take a break? Could you find some way to reward them for their efforts? It's not like you have much food to spare- and you don't think there is much nectar in a place like this.
What do you think? Do you think the Pikmin should be rewarded and praised for what they do? Or is this just part of their programming- dutifully following their leader?
>Praise Pikmin and give them a rest>Clearly they don't care about that
