“Hey!” Valjean is none-too-pleased at being jerked so suddenly, but you ignore him in lieu of pressing forwards.
True to your intuition, you hear signs of a scuffle up-ahead, and, whether or not it’s mutant-related, you opt to check it out anyways since you haven't seen any other crime as of yet.
Racing towards the source of the noise, you skid to a halt on the building just above your destination. Peering downwards, you find that it's a chase between a couple of goons and a sole mutant.
From first glance, the mutant doesn't look like much, dressed like your everyday, run-of-the-mill street thug, the goons struggling to keep up with him as he books it down the dimly-lit streets.
Firing their tranq rounds at him, their shots end up missing through the darkness, and, with the other mutant's speed, you wonder if you really need to intervene here...
>Wat do?>Keep watching for now, and see how this plays out. The mutant doesn't seem to be in too much trouble.>Stop the goons-- you can have them both down in less than thirty seconds, if not less.>Grab the mutant and haul him up to the roof.>Write-in>(2/2)
