>>5308853while yes, there are stuff like communal facilities, one must remember machines on starships have specific specifications, so one waste cleaner(cleaning piss into drinkable water) can only do what it has been made to do. so no matter if one skimps out on quality for the people, there would still need the same amount of expansion on those kinds of facilities if more people were to join the ship. no matter how communal it get's.
i would imagine this is mostly why people being on the ship, and the ability to have that amount of people on the ship are separate in terms of storage point cost. with food rations for travel likely also being in that amount points.
and my point was more that, as was said, these voidsmen are actually pretty well off, with good conditions and a stable employer. our ship despite being in imperial standards is actually pretty good with good standards (relatively). while we might not have everyone get sick 1'nce every 12 days, at any and all times, any ship which get's a larger population will over time have to care for more sick people at any given time + with us we would need to have a high throughput of patients in case of a boarding going shitty and people being severely wounded. our medicine cabinets have to be stocked to do that, and that requires space.
and yeah i meant 10 hotel rooms not entire hotels with multiple buildings. and maybe something like 6 is a more realistic number now that i think it over since you would likely have one hotel room's to 1.5's worth of space for each of the different needs of a voidsman as i mentioned in
>>5308628i forgot the 16 hour comment, but i still think there likely is something like an hour of free time in a day on a ship. since while sanity isn't necessarily a thing ship captains need to care about, mutinies are a thing we can care for and are likely to go down if they have something else to look forward to in the daily life other than prayer time.
on that note, i didn't say either that we should become heretical, more in the direction of "we serve the emperor weather the imperium likes it or not!" kind of deal. talking more about the corruption of the imperium's hierarchy and how it's rotted and free people like us are the ones who can do his work without the decrepit old hands of nobles trying to strangle every single bit of work out of us to give them the palaces in the sun/sky. kind of like a "fighting the man" anti big government but still emperor loving. kind of like those "we fight for god himself not the church" organizations opposing the catholic faith's leadership through European history.
and yeah i think combat right now is fuckin stupid, i think if anything we should've likely gotten something like the cobra before we even think about beginning to raid any form of attacking anyone.
>>5308904cool, that stuffs always fun for everyone :)
