You step outside, past the other woman you didn't meet in this chronology. Just past the door outside, it is blisteringly hot. You look to see what looks like a meteor trait, leading from, holy shit, a giant ship taking up a huge section of the skyline. The boom came from a lander that explodes into the ground with a raising of dust. Several of the lactomages are gathered around, panicking.
As the dust settles, the lander opens and out step two tan-skinned men. They are hulking with muscle. Where their hands would be are knives mounted to their wrists, arcing with electricity. Behind them is a woman wearing blood-red clothes with bright red hair and eyes. A miasma of red swirls around her.
"Be calm!" she says "We are here for the Time Knight Candidate only. Stay out of our way."
