As everyone continues occupying themselves, the ship continues north. To your east, you can tell the grass is becoming a darker green in hue, and the number of villages is increasing. There are less crops being grown, and a slow increase in the amount of land being used for pastures. Fields of flowers dot the landscape, showing where the hand of man does not extend. To your right, the mountain ranges grow. Snow covers many of the peaks now, and sheer cliff faces are becoming more coming.
All throughout the ship, there is a consistent droning of engine and fire and the propellors on the back of the ship. Luckily, the ship is largely shaded due to the balloon suspending it. You are roughly 5 minutes south of the city of Eirenopolis. The crew is hard at work getting the ship ready to land. You can see the walls of the city from your vantage point. Grand slabs of stone, painted white and blue and green in a cubic pattern, nearly as high as the mountains that it spans. You can barely see the top of the wall, and from what you can tell, it must at least be 300 meters thick. There are great wall towers build into it, each would be a fortress of renown if by itself. The gates are grand, with statues and marblework decorating them for all to see. Along the outside of the wall appears to be a river, manmade. Likely for defensive functions.
