Nobody will be able to answer the distress call due to Samurai jamming. Allowing the Samurai to advance farther into the Peninsula is not beneficial for the Psyops. We must act to help drive them back. We have decided to draft a large force of Rapid Response troops for this mission. We will engage in tactical deployments and launch strategic strikes to weaken the Samurai ability to advance.
[KURT] "Bring up the tacmap."
The trade post is against a sloped hill. There seems to be a single concrete 'L' shaped wall protecting the trade post along the main highway. The Samurai are advancing from the lower steps and dirt paths. There are rows of trees that divide the farmable land they are using for cover. We have marked some significant locations.
(A) - The Trade post itself, harboring 70+ civilians inside the buildings and defended by two infantry sections. They have mounted MGs on the trade post's concrete wall and a single artillery howitzer that is jammed, which they are trying to get to work again.
(B) - The firing line that a large number of Ashigaru have formed. They are attempting to rapidly shimmy up closer while maintaining fire trade with Woldorian mounted MGs.
(C) - The Hill's dirt road pass, which two break off squads are trying to hold back another number of Ashigaru from clearing, they are currently trading fire.
(D) - The Farm house, located not too far from the trade post, which two squads are hold up in fending off attacks from Retainer Yumi Bowmen.
(E) - A gathering banzai in the crop field itself. These are mostly Ashigaru and Retainer swordsmen and spearmen who are preparing to sound a charge to overtake the trade post once the Ashigaru gunners have whittled down their MGs.
(F) - The Jammer itself, hidden behind some rocks past the crop field. A number of Ashigaru are holding there to guard it, but they are about to disembark to join the assault against the farm house.
The Samurai are being led by a Koshogumi holding position at their radio jammer.
[KURT] "At ease, Unteroffizier. Help is on the way. Sit tight and get ready to receive some more boys in green."
[UNTEROFFIZIER] "OH! OHO! T-THANK WOLDOR! WE'RE GETTING REINFORCEMENTS! PLEASE! HURRY! I THINK THEY'RE PREPARING A BANZAI CHARGE DOWN THE WAY! WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH AMMO TO TAKE DOWN THOSE RETAINERS!"
We have [107] Rapid Response personnel at the ready. Our Atz'mah, Raam and Ayit and Zerem are at the ready.
We need to distribute squads in even numbers and plan our attack out against this numerically superior foe.
>What's our move?
