If all is going well, Blare and the others should not be splicing in footage taken by the mobile workers yesterday, and over Federation forces gathering at Guardian’s spaceport base, “These shipments bore only one goal: to crush and kill our people, to wreak havoc among civilians and terrify them into meek submissiveness. Women and children, whole families - we plainly saw the Federation’s intentions to sweep them all away in fire, and so this morning at dawn we have chosen to act in the people’s defense! We have seen the tanks, the guntanks, and the personnel carriers which the Federation intended to use against the citizenry of Zum, against the good people of all the Sides. There is no need for such weapons to control people if a government is just, if it cares for its people, but the Federation does not! Ask yourself, what has stirred the people of Zeon into such unrest to begin with? This very same heavy handed oppression!”
Moving on, you continue to establish the stakes of the ongoing uprising, “The colony our academy resides upon, Guardian Banchi, has been used as a hub for this onslaught against human dignity - as I speak, my comrades are putting an end this madness, fighting to defend the people of the Earth Sphere by seizing control of the Federation’s stockpile of weapons here, and capturing troops and transport ships before they are sent to oppress our people! While I mourn the loss of life on both sides, and the tragic loss of the Federation cruiser two days ago, no longer can we tolerate the pig-headed aggression which led to these circumstances to begin with, nor will we allow any further escalation of violence against our civilians, friends, and loved ones!”
