TalOS knew these would be likely the last words he and his father would share in private. A powerful declaration needed to be made for whatever terrors the Emperor experienced will be placated by what the once Primarch declares.
It was this knowledge that the Omnissiah spoke, “Father, I love you.”
The words were carried through the air with pitch perfect understanding within it. They were echoed through the Motive Force as a declaration that could not be impeeded no matter what foul powers committed themselves to doing. In such might were these words spoken that the Emperor turned to face his son with genuine surprise at such a declaration.
As the Emperor looked towards TalOS he decided to say his own words, “I love you as well, TalOS. Only now do I realize how powerful it was and wished we spent more time together.”
TalOS watched his Father leave upon those words. The meaning of them were evident in that the Emperor was still not willing to place TalOS at the highest of his sons. Indeed he could have claimed TalOS to be a Favored Son but they both would know it to be a lie.
To counter this the desire for more time was evident. If they had more time, if the Emperor had not been so distant, they might have appreciated each other far more than they already do.
Regret was something that filled the Emperor. Regret for all that had transpired based on his decisions. How the Universe worked was foreign to all but the C’Tan. Not even the Gods of Chaos truly understood what it was they were tampering with and what trouble they were causing for even themselves.
The Omnissiah slowly rose above the Custodians, Astartes, and Priests that were all present for the defence of this system. With the Emperor gone he was the one who shall lead them in the eternal defense of the Webway. Maybe, just maybe, the Omnissiah will have a chance to repair the damage that his brother Magnus had done. In doing so free their Father from whatever terrors the Golden Throne was soon to inflict upon them all.
He cannot stay silent to them all. The Custodians, while extremely loyal and brave, were still thinking beings who wondered just who was incharge of them. The same went for the Astartes who looked up to the divine that was above them. Only the Priests, who were now witnesses to the Omnissiah, could serve eternally on this front of war.
>Inform them of the great duty that shall be exacted!
>Declare that their records and exploits shall be recorded for those outside to know
>Give them the plan, let them know that their services will be used perfectly.
