Back from my trip abroad and recovering from jetlag. Somewhat telling that the air quality in Paris was worse than when all that smoke was blowing down the Eastern Seaboard from Canada.
>>5689486>Trykov's Customized LoadoutHe's still got his stock-issue DC-15A, but he and Elba have converted it to a DC-15s Carbine to make it more lightweight. Trykov also has a DC-17 pistol salvaged during the fighting on Kakarit. Both have the (Stun Setting) quality. And as mentioned earlier, he does have the whipcord launcher that he fires from a wrist gauntlet. The only melee weapon he has is a Bowie Knife strapped to his boot.
Trykov's current project with Elba is making customized armor for himself. Not nearly in the vein of Mando Beskar Armor, but something less recognizable than his own Phase 2 Clone Trooper armor. He has a few ideas on what FFG classifies as "Augmentative Armor" (i.e. power armor), but that's beyond the MSDF's manufacturing capabilities. There's plenty of Durasteel ingots and other materials that were "reappropriated" from Tof coffers and repositories, and the MSDF parted with them willingly due to association with Farren.
Insofar as equipment found on Amagi, he's picked out a few items that'll be useful for the whole crew and the ship. Happy coincidence that he used to be a supply officer. He's used to scrounging around for materials, complaining about a lack of a proper support base, and making do with what (little) he has.
>>5689492>>5689497>Using the Force on Vong BiotsIt's my understanding that when the Vong were stripped of the Force, it affected everything that was born (or originally grown) on Yuuzhan'tar.
That being said, there are ways to get around it, as well as exceptions. Luke and Kyp were able to collapse dovin basal singularities, but they weren't directly targeting the organism. And while you can't Force Push a Vong, you could Force Push a boulder into one. But Force Lightning is one of the few techniques that will unfailingly work on them. Whether or not Force Fire works on them is something I'm still debating, but leaning towards "yes" more so than "no".
Before I fall into a jetlag fugue, I think the winning vote for Ceyla was Makashi and Intense Training.
