>>5916056>DiscrepanciesNo worries, it happens. Ironically, some of the discrepancies ended up self-correcting unintentionally, which leaves the only things to rectify being STR and CHARM gains.
>Stat BoostersWe ended up getting ...
>+4 HP (Eulalia's Promise)>+2 DEX (Dame Alma); +1 DEX (Dance Practice) = +3 DEX>+1 RES (White Verona); +2 RES (Talisman) = +3 RES>+2 MAG (Spirit Dust)>+4 LCK (Pegasus Charm); +4 LCK (Goddess Icon); +2 LCK (Old Key); +1 LCK (Miracle Bean) = +11 LCK>+4 CHARM (Black Pearl); +2 CHARM (Romance Novel); +4 CHARM (Black Necklace); +3 CHARM (Eulalia's Promise) = +13 CHARMFrom bonuses alone (mostly stat boosters, with the odd bonus quest reward thrown in too). Naturally, the Averages (and other numbers) already take these numbers into account, but it's interesting to think that without them, we'd actually have like... 24 LCK and 25 CHARM instead of what we've already got.
>GrowthsBlair's growths definitely seemed pretty high-- especially when compared to other characters. Then again, unlike the others, she doesn't have a Crest or a Hero Relic, so it mostly balances out. I will admit that I'm interested in knowing if we could've gone on the Vision Quest earlier for more gains though.
>Swordmaster BlairAh yes, the weeb AU where Swordmaster / Mortal Savant Blair learns the Astra from Cormac, to defeat the only other person who could match her blade:
Jetstream Sam Kate.
...that actually sounds pretty cool.
>ThanksHappy to help! Truth be told, auditing the stats here was something I've been wanting to do for a while, even if I'm not super experienced with it. In the end, it was an enlightening experience, and it allowed me to reread the quest a third or fourth time, heh. It really is something to see how Blair evolved-- and the Quest itself along with it. We certainly have come a long way since Thread 1, and even though I wasn't around for it, I'm glad to have hopped onto the quest in general.
As for more auditing stuff, I did a simple computation, just for fun. Picrel has the stats of Blairs who took all of the Stat Boosters and Class Bonuses-- except one had 100% growths from the start, and the other had 0% growths from the start. This of course, is as simple as just adding +50 to each stat (assuming there's no stat cap, anyway), but it' interesting to see how close and how far away we are from the true extremes of what Blair could have been.
