Ironwood looks pensive for a second. “Normally I’d say it was a naive hope, but Thyme is a special case. Her sister is part of a group called the Happy Huntresses, Robyn Hill is the leader and she holds more influence in Mantle comparatively than the council holds in Atlas. We don’t see eye to eye, she thinks I hold nefarious intent, but surely if you speak to Thyme’s sister and get her to convince Robyn to support us…” James strokes his chin, plans appearing on his mind. “Mantle has at least two fifths of the Kingdom’s entire population, I can sway the vote among the ranks and…” He begins pacing. “Accounting swing voters…” He mumbles and paces.
“James,” Glynda calls his attention. “This might be a big opportunity. We should discuss it with Ozpin and see if he can pull some strings.”
“If Atlas passes that notion, Argus will do as well, then it is a matter of time until I can implement it all over Mistral!” Lionheart helpfully adds.
“See, I knew you had it in you. Just gotta think of problems like windows and solutions like you smashing your body through them.” Theodore not-so-helpfully adds.
You roll your eyes. You jump through ONE window.
Plans and hopes come crashing down as you hear two people approaching. You see a man and a woman, both with white hair, blue eyes and clothes with the same color scheme. The woman tries to pull the man away from your group, but he pushes on.
“And just WHO will pay for that, James?” An overly formal voice comes from the man.
“Jacques.” You didn’t know so much venom could come from a single word. “I remember specifically going to the other side of the room so you couldn’t intrude.”
“I have a very keen ear for injustice, do you even know how much a single prosthetic costs? Well, of course YOU wouldn’t, that,” he points to his right hand, “was funded by the taxpayer, not you.”
“I repay my citizens tenfold with my service.”
“And it looks like you also wish to get paid tenfold. Taxes for the school, the army, the council, I mean come on, am I right?” Jacques looks around himself with his arms extended, some people begin looking over at the argument. He suddenly turns to you, smiles and hands you a card. “Jacques Schnee, pleasure to meet a bonafide hero.”

>Hesitate
