Deep scans of armaments have revealed the following details
1) All the gun turrets, despite style in a way identical to naval guns, are particle beam cannons. This is due to the deep scans revealing parts that are analogous to a gain-medium storage, a laser catalyzer, a field-condenser and what can only be the "packager", which increases the available range of the weapon by concentrating what should be an even beam throughout into a dense pulse driven by the leftover beam. The type of particles fired is as of yet unknown, but judging by the extensive control and containment measures and the medium container, tanks arranged in a way suspiciously similar to a revolver's chamber, indicates that these must be neutrons or any other particle that shares the rapid decay rate or difficulty in containment.
2) Missiles and torpedoes are relatively standard fare, being utilizing antimatter as the agent like the Federation's own patterns. The main difference lies in range. The Federation's missiles are rather small and containing a fusion pulse drive for acceleration and longevity, and can be maintain functions for several AUs, meant to take journeys in truly massive swarms that finally englobe and destroy the enemy with advanced guiding VIs. Meanwhile, Garmillas missiles are structured longer, and have far larger yields, seems to operate at a "duelling" range, close enough to cleanly exchange fire. Field extending filaments are detected, seemingly to create burn-zones, where the detonation "hangs" in open space to force diversion, very tactically focused.
3) Point defense guns on Garmillas vessels seem to be situated on the sides and the "topside", unlike the Federation's full-coverage designs. The ventral sections are almost undefended. They seem to be general-purpose pulsed-beam weapons, unlike the Interceptor System utilized by Federation vessels, where tachyon scanners mark down every blast of enemy fire, record the quantum signature, and fire off a quantically locked plasma burst that homes in on the approaching projectiles, guaranteeing a near 100-percent hit rate.
Overall, engagements, assuming the lack of out-of-context problems, will be quite favourable for Federation vessels unless Garmillas vessels leverage their significantly superior total acceleration to constantly reposition. Even still, Federation vessels should be able to outlast them unless facing significant numerical deficiency. Gravity shielding paired with Interceptors and the newly standardized charged-particle screen projectors for energy weapons, while far more resource intensive should make up in quality.
