<span class="mu-i">"Ya out of your mind, partner? Zodd can break through this building just with a flap of them wings!" </span>
"That's the plan! We can't move forward thanks to the traps set here and the knights on the room above, just make sure you take Casca away from the knights before he breaks in."
<span class="mu-i">"Ya makin' this sound a lot easier than how it really is!"</span> Hyde's hands tremble as he pats Violet's head, slowing down to find a good entry point.
"I know yer growing tired, girlie, but we ain't resting here unless we don't plan on seeing Mama Jodi again!"
<span class="mu-i">"Mama Jodi! Mama Jodi!"</span>Being encouraged by her dad and the promise of seeing the rest of her family again, the bird hybrid brings her wings to her body as Hyde passes through the small, circular hole above you, taking one turn around Gyove and striking them with his pellets at their joints, making the duo contort in pain and involuntary drop Casca on the floor.
Zodd tears his way through the building as a good quarter of the floor walls go down, the rubble falling onto Gyove and the last of Bolzack's soldiers as they are unceremoniously crushed under the minotaur.
With the rubble activating the trap, you block a few of the repeated poisonous darts flying from the walls by chucking a boulder at the secret compartments.
You've successfully rushed your way through the last floor, yet you've only substituted one problem with a worse one.
"Foul bird, how dare you attack me before I could settle my qualms with the black swordsman?" Zodd roars to Hyde and Violet as the bird runs out of breath, staying on the floor incapable of taking flight thanks to Casca's added weight.
"Ya already fought with 'im once, what's the point in doing it again? Ya know the result already!"
"Our fight was forced into an intermission, orders of the Falcon of Light. And unlike my encounter with you or the bear from Ilos, I can't tell who the victor would be if we finished our fight on that snowy hill."
Zodd implies that his strength is comparable, if not stronger than Guts. It's possible that you might have the edge in combat against the apostle if you all tackled him at once, but Guts has only now reached the castle's entrance, so until he deals with the Mandragoras, you can't exactly count on him for the save.
Talking with a monster who could easily obliterate an empowered Barnham... You can already feel your legs trembling...
>Ah, but you haven't faced me yet! I'll have you know I have defeat the black swordsman in battle before you ever could!>Is this fight necessary? Your desire for a strong warrior won't come from killing us.>If you yearn for a challenge, maybe you should fight the infested Mandragorans instead.>Surprise him with a soul arrow to the head.>Write in.
