And with a snap and flash, the arena is once more restored to its previous perfect condition. Making you wonder if he's using some sort of Chaos magic, like Chilli?
“All right! It's my turn now!” Chaya says, punching her left palm excitedly. “The main event is about to begin!”
“You've got this, kiddo.” you say, offering her your fist. Which she bumps with her own before leaping down. As she does, the Ninth's last fighter, the blue-furred wolfman jumps down too. Scarf flowing in the gentle breeze of his descent before settling around him, the creature taking a confident stance with his arms down as Chaya lands before him. Her nub of a tail flicking back and forth, ready to put on a show. But, before she can, her opponent speaks. However, as she stares her foe down, you notice the way the other deities are talking. Calling this tournament an all out war, fearing for the future of their universes, the other gods are nervous. Clearly not used to having to fight with their lives on the line, living in their pampered divine realm. Not fighting to survive like the mortals they look down upon.
“This is gonna be fun.” Chaya says to him, you able to HEAR the grin in her voice as she's speaking. “May not be the fight for your universe, but you'd still better go all-out.”
“Hmph. I won't take orders from some lowlife.” the wolfman says, his tone catching you by surprise. And surprises Chaya as he turns, facing Grand Zen-Oh above and taking a deep breath before bellowing out. “All you folks around up there, listen up!”
“Huh?” Champa asks, even Zen-Oh leaning forward in his seat expectantly with a “What now?”
“I am the eldest brother of the unstoppable Trio de Danger! I'm Bergamo the Crusher!” he declares, throwing his arms wide. “The Grand Priest has just told me our Ninth Universe is home to the lowest-ranked mortals in the entire cosmos! That's wrong!”
He then turns, pointing at your daughter accusatorily.
“How can that be when this woman's level is far below any of my brothers?” he continues, making quite a show of calling out your daughter. Who crosses her arms, smirking. As if she knows something's up. “He doesn't deserve to fight me! We wouldn't be facing universal destruction if he hadn't requested this tournament in the first place! So not only is she unimpressively weak, she's also a selfish moron!”
“Moron, hun?” Chaya asks, hands on her hips “Going a little hard for a-”
“You've said enough for one day, fool!” Bergamo shouts over her, turning fully to face her, pointing accusatorily. “Your ignorance and lust for battle makes you a threat to the entire cosmos! So, on behalf of all them, I'm going to crush you!”
