Upon your arrival, Erna finished off whatever she'd been telling you and threw her hands to the side once more. "Aaaand we're here! Indie, welcome t' Tumul Town!!"
In front of you lay a town square far larger than what Redpine Village had to offer. A far busier one, too. As soon as you entered you could see tens of mon selling things at stands, hawking their wares, and tens more lining up to buy whatever assorted goods they required. Mon would pass each other without even saying hello- clearly too busy to do so- with almost none of them even being of the same species.
Stepping into the cobbled circle netted you a scene not unlike the clearing you'd found yourself in yesterday- six branching paths (though these were mostly concentrated ahead of you as opposed to all around you) with various different auras about them. The leftmost was clearly less attended-to than the rest, without any rocks paving its paths and some assorted trash scattered about them, while the rightmost seemed only slightly better-off. The one straight ahead of you seemed to lead back into the wilderness, and the few other paths that remained soon split off into so many branching streets that you could hardly make out what lay down either one.
"Whoa..."
You didn't even know it was possible for Pokemon to build things like this. Massive two-story buildings, intentionally-decorated paths- hell, some of the bigger buildings were even shaped like specific Pokemons' heads! Why that was seemed entirely unclear to you, but you supposed real estate hadn't progressed far enough ahead for resale value to be on most peoples' minds.
"So, where d'you wanna go first?" Erna hopped in front of you and grinned, all too eager to be your designated tour guide.
>Try one of the seedier paths, left or right. You're curious about why they look like that- and want to see if you're judging a book by its cover, or right on the mark.
>Head down the northwest path, with tons of branches. You've gotta see where they lead!
>Head down the northeast path, where you can hear more chatter. Maybe it's a more permanent market area?
>Stay here and browse the stalls. You wanna see what's on sale.
>"Do you want to show me anything?"
>Write-in
