Terrible unthinking monsters, yes but yet not all Fae are foes.
Humans whom Emile has fought tend also to be 'opponents' or 'enemies' yet not many are truely 'foes'.
I feel his foes would be those marked by his angel and those whos depravity and wickedness he feels has forsaken all light of redemption and are condemned for the pit.
