“A day pass…” Chiaotzu adds to clarify. “One for all your fallen former allies?”
“Precisely.” He lets out a sigh. “Fine. My decision has been made.” He motions to Sala, holding the hilt of his sword’s handle to her. She’s delighted by the motion, but before she can grab it, he holds his other hand up to halt her. “You must NOT let this fall into the wrong hands. Sophis is a blade of immense power. I can wield its phenomenal might… but someone as powerful as Yalbadoth should be just as capable of such a thing. He has never tried it, but I would not put it past his capabilities. Do you understand? Do NOT let this fall into the wrong hands.”
She… kinda pouts at him, but placing her hand on the hilt of the blade, she declares seriously, “I won’t let this sword fall into the wrong hands. I promise.” Taking the sword into her hand, Zelos relaxes his grip on it, allowing her to truly wield it. She holds it up high, letting it glow with power.
‘The bait has been set.’ he tells you telepathically. “I can show you some of its capabilities, if you have the time.” the bird Archon tells Sala.
