>>5641996You narrow your eyes, and Irinnile almost immediately seems to regret her harsh reply, face softening.
“Look I can help you with, like, Nenaias. But Chase… Nuh uh. Man knows his way around a binding anna’ exorcism, no two ways about it, an’ his sword and armour are all, like, anti-demony.”
“Then we divide and conquer,” you say. “You take one, and I the other.”
Irinnile makes a show of considering it, but in the end your trust pays off: she will not abandon you, not here and not now. She calls one of her more burly supplicants forth, and he descends into the hidden interior of this manor, returning with a worn, emaciated, but well-groomed and finely-attired Heinrich Yosef. He lifts bleary, bloodshot eyes to behold you, and they narrow slightly.
“You…”
He gets little opportunity to say more than that before, to his mounting horror (and something else, something eager), he beholds his one-time slave’s approach. Irinnile embraces him, and with a long kiss, melts into him. By ounces and quarts she pours into his mouth and nose, until she is all within him again. The Green Knight falls, and when he rises, Irinnile is behind his eyes, and Kinslayer once more in his hand.
(It is STILL a cool sword, which you rather wished YOu possessed, but maybe that's draconic greed talking... or lingering demonically-stoked lust.)
“Let’s ride,” they say as one.
