<span class="mu-s">A beach on Dragonstone - 404AC</span>
==========================================================
You woke from blackness to the cawing of seagulls and the crash of water on rocks, you had curled fetal around Crab’s claw as you’d slept and shivered from both pain and chill as you made to move, even the smallest movement was a bone deep ache and any number of your countless wounds were raw to the touch of air, sand or rock, you tried to breathe deeply to steady yourself against the pain but found only a wet rattling hacking in its place that had you curled double with pain and struggling for breath, dark bile was in abundance and you tasted sickly iron with it.
It took longer than you would have liked to steel yourself and recover, for a mere cough to have you so close to tears was shameful and you would have burned with shame had you not been alone. Through tears and pain you could see the earliest signs of pre dawn light in the night sky. It had been midday when you had left the castle, had you really been at sea so long? The thought of it disconcerted you a moment before you remembered the madness of what places it had held you in and gave a wet laugh that spelled you a fit of coughing, time was no more a trick of the light than the waking world it seemed.
You considered Crab’s claw and the helm near it, the prizes of your expedition and the proof of where you had been, You might have thought to make it to the Castle and make a dramatic show of it like a Bard’s tale but your state gave you pause, It would be a hike, even on a trail or path well travelled and you did not envy the thought of it.

1.The high road, the low road or to rest
>Damn it all! You would make it to the castle and make your name today with all the glory and drama that would have your name recorded in song and history as the reclaimer of your ancestral glory, nothing else would do [Haughty]
>The hike was madness, you would be sobbing in tears barely past the beach at best and with severe injury at worst, glory and songs were not worth that! You could not see the end of the beach but with any luck the shore and rocks would be traversable and perhaps with time you could make it to the port or at least some place more comfortable than this. [Cynic]
>The pain was too much, rest and recovery were what you needed not more exertion, perhaps when the sun rose you would have an easier time making it back to the castle but there was no use in rushing [Cynic]
