To the Scions of the All Seeing they could not realize the sudden darkness that one of their planets became. The planet which should have been vastly more secure than it was previously was silent.
The confusion only continued as the second and third planets went silent. What could have been a freak accident quickly showed a pattern to the follower of sight. With little knowledge they sent forward a small scouting force to help realize what was approaching them.
In mid communication between Scorches they fell silent, the scout force falling silent as they were but ten systems away from the Nexus World they inhabited.
It was then that the Xenos learned to fear.
Quickly information was gathered from all reaches, from either spies of other groups. Small parcels of information from the fourth most outposts coming in crying out how they were forsaken by the All Seeing one. That being made not of crystal but metal rained down upon them for an eradication of their civilizations.
Quickly another of the Seers gathered information from their spies in the infidels. The spies answered that the metal foe of the All Seeing One had emerged again from their dreadful planet of iron. The true name of their foe was given by the few prisoners that could be gathered.
The Mechanicum.
It was a simple realization that whatever was coming towards them was some sort of Mechanicum super weapon. There was no reason to deny that it was such a super weapon as the entire fleet was hidden from the scrying eyes of the Seers. The eyes of the Many-Eyed one were seemingly blotted by those infidels.
Thus the ships were raised on high alert, preparations made to fight.
>We could just go around them and fuck with them.
>Spook with them, hang out on the edge and just let the Blackstone Fortress’s Aura fuck them
>A straight up fight, no reason to play with our food.
