<span class="mu-r">“Connecting you now.”</span> you announced, merging the two calls at the press of a button. <span class="mu-r">“Ms. Nightly, I’d like to introduce you to Thomas Edison, the brilliant inventor that'll be making your suit for you.”</span>
You heard Cindy mutter a complaint about her codename, but she decided to let the matter drop for the time being.
<span class="mu-s">“Hi. Is your name really-?”</span>
<span class="mu-b">“Yes.”</span> Thomas answered, almost as if he’d been expecting it.
<span class="mu-s">“Like, your parents really named you after the guy himself?”</span>
<span class="mu-b">“It was just the one parent, and yes. I was cloned using the DNA of the man I’m named after.”</span>
<span class="mu-s">“Wow. That’s…pretty cool. It’s good to meet you, Mr. Edison.”</span>
<span class="mu-b">“And you, miss. The Huntsman tells me that you require new equipment. Is there anything that you need in particular?”</span>
<span class="mu-s">“Aside from a suit made out of vibranium?”</span>
<span class="mu-b">“You <span class="mu-i">are</span> the customer. My role is to fulfill your requests to the best of my ability.”</span> Thomas clarified.
<span class="mu-s">“Well, in that case…”</span> Cindy began, her excitement ramping up once more. <span class="mu-s">“I’m gonna need a new bo-staff, also made of vibranium. It has to be collapsable, and I need it to be able to split off into batons.”</span>
<span class="mu-b">“That sounds easy enough. Anything else?”</span>
<span class="mu-s">“I’m gonna need a cape.”</span>
<span class="mu-b">“A vibranium-weave cape?”</span>
<span class="mu-s">“Would that be a problem?”</span>
<span class="mu-b">“Not really, but…”</span> Thomas said, humming thoughtfully. <span class="mu-b">“That would be a waste of the material. I would suggest a programmable matter cloth that recedes into the suit. That way, the cape can be summoned and dismissed at will. Its length and shape will also be freely customizable.”</span>
<span class="mu-s">“Whoa…! You can do that?”</span> Cindy said, sounding genuinely impressed.
<span class="mu-b">“Well...not right this moment. But, with enough time, effort and resources, anything is possible."</span>
